St.Sophia~
St. Sophia refers primarily to the early Christian martyr, a wise widow from Italy who named her three daughters after the virtues: Faith, Hope, and Love (Pistis, Elpis, and Agape in Greek). They were martyred under Emperor Hadrian for their steadfast faith, with the daughters beheaded, and Sophia dying soon after from grief, becoming a martyr herself, commemorated by Orthodox and Catholic traditions, with the name also honoring Holy Wisdom.
