Donald Trump reiterated that he would like the US to control Greenland, arguing the territory is strategically vital to American security.
During a bilateral meeting ahead of the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump went on to argue that Denmark has failed to adequately invest in Greenland and warned that the island’s location makes it increasingly important as China and Russia expand their presence in the Arctic. - Aired on 07/07/2026.
