from decades of time spent in airport VIP lounges and on the editorial page of the NY Times, commenting blandly on policies and budget cuts and Republican cruelties that would never impact his life one little bit. And now, after he has gotten his wish of so many years and he has a laissez fare government on steroids like he has been advocating for all these years -- damn the consequences and repercussions -- he is now another "reasoned" commentator who can't seem to understand what went wrong.

And should things go well and Democrats somehow reclaim Congress, he will be right out there within months with insights gained from some deli counter worker in Miami or limo driver in Indianapolis about how little is getting accomplished.

Can't stand him. He is the Tim Russert of David Broders.
