6. You are exactly right. Having grown up when I did, there are many times that I can't believe this is happening

I'm in Northeastern New York, so what's happening now hasn't affected my region up close and personally all that much - yet. But we have been subject to the representation of Stefanik who has chosen to represent the felon-in-chief rather than the people of the 21st District. And of course we have seen prices rise substantially, both at the grocery stores and now that regular gas prices have reached $4-a-gallon, at least the last time I checked.

I also have a lot of fear - while we keep hearing that the Democrats are winning elections all over, but what will we have to go through until the next major election?? The news tells us that the felon-in-chief is trying to control who can vote and how - and that there may be threats for those who brave going to the polls if he gets away with sending his personal election monitors. And, though we are waiting with hope for that election, his making The People's House his own is not a good sign.

So I'm scared, too. And if we manage to take back the government, how long will it take to repair what has been dismantled?? My guess is at least a generation - meanwhile we know that the ruling party tends to be at a disadvantage in the subsequent election, and we already have so much that desperately needs repair.
