I actually don’t mind anyone being the centre of attention. I used to hate being conspicuous and then blunder into things and attract attention. Yeah I should stop doing that at some point..

What I learnt after falling into something foul was that being under observation, even the Panopticon thing, degrades your expectations of dignity and is hell.

In addition to whatever battles rage for attention, these guys want to smoke out all the people who lurk, so our hands are basically forced. That’s the part that pissed me off. Because I wanted to be there! I liked how this site had underground in its name.

Okay maybe that is excessively paranoid and I am dubious about Liu Cixin’s politics.
But it is a somewhat apt metaphor for the net as it bleeds into our lives and forces one to poke at this opaque mass gingerly when not goaded.

Actually I generally have few problems with male scientists in other fields or doctors or even working class men. And people who don’t use the net much are refreshingly free sometimes of hardened lunatic views.

People who live outside computer worlds in short. I don’t like a lot of the extremely online in general, because they have forgotten common niceties and in person human behavior.

You are cool Skittles because you are fun and all you. But a lot of them pick up these pugilistic ways online and eventually one has to with bad grace respond. They are not like you. You kick ass alone and honestly. They mob when weaker or extort when powerful. Douchebags..

As is, I have to be online all the time lately (though it is strictly temporary) to get these guys to stop gumming up the works for me for this damn long. Nitwits. There isn’t even a proper interface except DU and cleverbot and none of them respond to email.
I am in this 14+ year conflict (or not..It is impossible to tell! That must be the fun!) over right to information basically.
