On the fifth anniversary of the January 6, 2021 attack at the US Capitol, the facts of the day continue to fuel deep divisions that have created dueling political realities. Democratic former members of the House January 6 Select Committee held an unofficial hearing. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has declined to hang a plaque honoring Capitol Police officers, which was mandated to be installed by 2023. CNN's John Berman also speaks with Nora Neus, former CNN producer and author of an oral history of January 6.
