5. The slope gets really slippery.

It's indeed difficult to gauge the right amount for a few bites of cookie, or brownie, or whatever. If the treat tastes good, it's tempting to try an extra bite that might put you over the top. Then it's time to lay down and wait for the effect to subside. It always does, but it's a real time waster. I've veered away from edibles for this reason. If you take too much, you might be wishing for the four or five hours to pass much more quickly. I can control the drug more easily with dry herb vaping.
