5. Try taking turmeric for the knee. It helps with inflammation

I mix it with some ginger, black pepper, and any other spices that I have on hand, along with coconut oil and mix it into coconut milk for a lovely 'Golden Milk' drink. You can find lots of recipes on line.

I also take tumeric capsules. I am convinced this habit is what made my bout of shingles a less than horrific experience. I still had a rash and some blisters, and was certainly uncomfortable, but I got through it relatively fast, without all of the pain and deep discomfort I've heard others experience.
