A yuppie can be very liberal or very conservative or anything in between.

Young upwardly mobile professional is not measuring where someone is on the political, ideological continuum. It's about something else entirely.

DINO, on the other hand, is a statement about where someone is on the political, ideological continuum.

In any event, I don't see a need for PINO, but it's not an important issue for me.
