So why do they have to ask the athletes about Jane Austin?

I think unlv coach jerry tarkanian said that.

They are athletes who work extremely hard and the schools make tens of millions of dollars per year from them. The rules are rigged so the athletes have to work for slave wages. Making the athletes do well in school is the height of hypocrisy. Doing well in school is not why they are there. They are there to generate huge profits from TV and alumni contributions.

When the teams fail not only do tv profits decline but alumni contributions fall.

Student athletes? What the hell does that have to do with the business of college sports?
