This is the craziest NBA offseason I can remember [View all]

Seriously, the Celtics are trading Jaylen Brown to the Sixers of all teams for Paul George, who’s never won anything in his life and never played in a Finals?

They were willing to break up the core of Brown and Tatum for Giannis, but didn’t want to trade Balor Scheierman or Hugo Gonzalez for him? Then they became desperate to shop their former Finals MVP. The Heat obviously have an impressive front court. What about everybody else?

The Kawhi Leonard deal makes no sense. Let’s trade our present and future after making the playoffs this year to bring back a 35-year-old who isn’t always healthy.

The Hornets, don’t know what they’re doing in sending off LaMelo and Miles Bridges and LaMelo wasn’t even being shopped.

At this point, on paper, I give five teams a chance to win the championship next year: New York, Philly, Detroit, OKC and San Antonio. Of course, the game isn’t played on paper and someone else can emerge.

It’s just that some of these moves make no sense to me.
