1. I saw that on the late, late movie on a local independent station when I was in high school.

Such a bizarre experience. It was the first time I had been confronted with the idea that immortality would not be some kind of picnic. It would be boring, tedious, and paralyzingly unfulfilling. One was tempted to feel sorry for the Immortals.
