Absolutely wonderful movie, always loved it.

If you look at the poster:
Helen was a brunette, not a blonde.
She dressed rather more conservatively than that.
Gort was not green.
Apparently the invaders are fighting the army by dropping a gigantic Earth onto Washington
Saturn appears to coming to crash into us (God this day is a bad day, thank goodness things Stood Still!)
The Army is shooting at Gort even though he has Helen, maybe she is collateral damage.
All the men at the bottom are soldiers, all the frightened citizens running away are women (hmmm)
Apparently one tank is shooting up at Gort's crotch. Not sure what good that's gonna do.
