His narrations were every bit as interesting as the cases themselves.

I loved his honey-toned quips about things like "the air being thicker than the town biscuit diner on an August afternoon."

I remember his passing on just as the Southeast Asian tsunami struck - and shortly after the shrub stole Ohio (and thus the White House) from Kerry.

Was a bad time.

Thanks for posting. Gone but definitely not forgotten.
