They've been available for about four years now. Last summer saw the company sold to Helios (who is made up of redbox/netflix folks) and working with the data mining company for analytical information to sell.

it's completely on the up and up. Even if you just see one movie a month it could be worthwhile. But basically one movie per day is paid for.
