Often, male survivors are overlooked or treated as an afterthought. This type of behavior can make sexual assault even more traumatic, in some ways, for men, because they feel they have no outlet. It disgusts me to see those who claim to be advocates of sexual assault survivors completely ignore men and boys. The voices of survivors, all survivors, deserve to be heard!
