Virginia, South Carolina, New Jersey, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, Oregon, Nevada, Connecticut and North Carolina either have or have bills pending that would ban the possession of guns for those under a restraining order for or convicted of domestic abuse. You can be assured that the NRA/ILA is in opposition and working to defeat these measures.

If your state is not on this list perhaps it is time to contact your local NOW chapter and start the ball rolling.

Support a gun control organization of your choice any way you can. Call and email your congress critter, write LTTEs and be heard. It works.
