I've contributed to Moms demand action, [View all]

Sandy hook promise, the Gifford's organization and Everytown. I've been thinking about consolidating my contributions to maximize the impact I can make.

I think I've found the answer for myself. Blomberg's Every town is doing some interesting things and I believe they may have some positive results. They are emulating the NRA tactic of beating shit of any legislator opposing Everytown policies and announced it to the press. Next they did the Not One More postcard program that delivered 2.4 million postcards to congress and now they are sending questionnaires to 2014 candidates to find out where they stand on gun violence legislation. The postcards no doubt got their attention and the survey will put them on notice that they may be a target based on their gun stance. Three actions so close together has to tell them we're not going away.

Support a gun control organization, any organization. Everytown works for me but YMMV.
