I知 just waiting to shoot some [expletive] kid: The gun report [View all]
Is trespassing a capital offense? No, the German government says, and it wants justice for one of its citizens, who was shot and killed in Montana on Sunday.
Diren Dede, 17, a German exchange student, wandered into the garage of a home in Missoula early Sunday, setting off sensors the homeowner had installed after several recent robberies. Markus Kaarma, 29, and his common-law wife, Janelle Pflager, had placed a baby monitor in the garage and installed motion sensors outside. Frustrated at the lack of success police had in arresting whomever had stolen cellphones and credit cards from their home, the couple intentionally left the garage door open and placed Pflagers purse there so they would take it, according to court papers obtained by The Missoulian. Kaarma approached the garage from outside and fired four times with a shotgun, hitting the teenager in the head and arm, killing him.
And here's the rest of the butcher's bill.
