Cultural competency for gunners? [View all]

I work in the public sector and about every six months we have to take cultural competency courses because of the diversity of our client population.
I notice in the gun debates most gunners have one mantra. That is 2nd Amendment rights first foremost and forever. Never mind what the rest of society thinks about guns being permitted everywhere.
I know it will never happen but what if before buying a gun you had to take a cultural awareness class that would let you know how other people feel if you show up at Walmart and a loaded gun fell out of your pants. Or the fact that people are afraid of people walking around with a gun in their belt.
There was a saying that your rights stopped at my nose.
My nose is your gun in my presence as far as I am concerned.
