The Second Amendment absolutists and gun nuts will say that this is a "meaningless" exercise, and that it would be better to donate those innocent guns to a worthy group (maybe the KKK?).

More and more Americans, including politicians who have not been corrupted by the right-wing (ALEC and the Koch Brothers), are recognizing the stark reality of the menace the gun culture brings to our society.
