As a guy who grew up in southern small town gun culture this all rings true to me. Toxic masculinity with fatal consequences.

Hard to see how we fix it with reason though. Our culture is so sexist and violent. One third (hopefully no more) of American voters want to vote for an icon of toxic masculinity for president. We outnumber them but they are so much angrier and they're better armed.

A generation more of murdered innocents is unfolding while we pretend it makes no sense.
