The "My Posts" page simply displays any posts that you made in the last 30 days. It also displays any of your posts which were replied to in the last 30 days. So if someone happens to reply to a post that you made a year ago, that post will reappear on the My Posts page.

The posts that you make aren't deleted after 30 days -- they remain where you posted them. If you want to find posts that are older than 30 days, you can use either the regular Search function (click the magnifying glass icon in the top right) or by using the Advanced Search function (click the magnifying glass, then click the Advanced Search button).

Just bear in mind that the Advanced Search function is not very reliable -- it works best if you search for narrow date ranges or specific forums. If you try to search too much at once, it will likely time out and fail to give you a result.
