If I were telling African Americans to keep quiet about issues of racism, I wouldn't then turn around and pretend to be an ally. If I were telling LGBT Americans that I was sick of hearing about homophobia, I wouldn't then pretend to be a supporter. I have always had the bizarre impression that so-called liberals value diversity. Fortunately, I have people like you to remind me that what I care about is not only irrelevant, it is flamebait. Thank goodness I have the good people of DU to point out how worthless my concerns are, or I might actually think I was a human being with equal rights.
