TCM's new programmer has no taste beyond the juvenile and male, so I've been knocking around over at You Tube, watching films and documentaries. I happened on this one that gives a completely different perspective on the upper Paleolithic than those old National Geographic magazine illustrations of a bunch of naked men sticking spears into a mastodon and no evidence of the existence of anyone else. I knew much of it, but there were a few revelations in here even for me:

Yes, it's 40+ minutes long, but it's an entertaining 40+ minutes that will go by very quickly.
