A long time ago many big business controlled housing and the company store. You bought everything at that store. You never made enough to pay them off or afford to get out of the housing. This was a great way to keep people from joining unions. If they even tried, the store would call the debt and they would be tossed out of the home. An example of people be thrown out was what lead up to the The Ludlow Massacre. The people, family's, were thrown out and the had to live in tents while they tried to protest conditions.

We now look at what is going on right now. We have people losing there homes and will need help soon from some where. We have Corps. that have patterned seeds. Right now a Farmer has a case being looked at by The Supreme Court. And There is an up coming case about the of DNA. And now with the Unions going down....

They lost much of it with birth of Unions and the minimum wage. Now, thanks to some really stupid politicians, the minimum wage is working for the big business and the Union is losing their ability to fight for what people need.

Now, they may not have a "company store" yet, but with such control over the food supply that they are getting...
