Just took a look at it, and it's glorious.

Many years ago, we (my husband and I) were given a telescope and the first thing we did was aim it at Jupiter. OMG! We felt like Galileo, because the four Galilean moons were lined up perfectly, two on each side. It was almost as if someone had slapped a photo on the telescope. Wow.

I LOVE astronomy, and you all here have seen me reference My Son The Astronomer. I myself had the good fortune to spend my first 14 years in northern New York State, a bit north of Utica, where the skies were extremely clear back in the 1950s. Lucky me.
