But dog and cats make my prep list. Plenty of tepid water, some frozen kongs. My cats are inside only with ac so they're less of a worry but the young lab needs walks and play time, so i dampen her belly, groin and paws before walks, try to keep her on grass and off pavement, use a shedding brush and give her lots of room temperature water. And we only exercise first thing in the morning. Daytime walks are short; she overheats quickly.
