A quick skim at your link, including some of the comments and relevant resources, has given me a great and timely gift this Monday morning.

I'm pretty much fed-up with my own approach to satisfying my curiosity/staying informed and am looking forward to learning about tools I can use to change that.

I may break the rules and crosspost this elsewhere for visibility. Seriously, thanks for posting this.
