7. Gnosticism and theism are 2 different things......

Gnosticism deals with knowledge while theism deals with belief.

I consider myself an agnostic atheist (sometimes called "hard" atheism).
I think everyone is agnostic, i.e., no one can ever really "know" about a diety.

I've always been an atheist because I've never seen any evidence that a god exists. Nor do I believe ANYTHING exists outside of space and time. Yet today people continuosly have religion shoved into their faces by the so-called "believers" who espouse biblical tenets.
Yet these same people ignore the parts of the Buy Bull they don't like or don't want to justify, like slavery.

One of the best examples of this was someone had tatooed on their arm Leviticus 18-22 about homosexuality being an "abomination".
Yet one chapter later (19-28) it says "nor print any marks upon you".....so according to his book, he commited a sin. Yeah, right, no contradiction there.......

I'm more anti-religion because science over the centuries has corrected itself, while religion never has. The need for a god gets smaller and smaller as science discovers the truth behind our reality. Religion just keeps making excuses for childish beliefs.
