so he was probably fighting some demons at the time. I see the book I mentioned in reprint, don't know if it's the same text.

Glad to hear your perspective on it, because I never really compared it to other religions, I actually thought it kind of mainstream Hawaiian because of the way the book presented it. With the amount of to put it mildly conflict in our modern society, I'm surprised the Kahuna Death Prayer never caught on. We'll leave it there for another day. lol
