1. I hate to disagree with a monk, but I would think a movie is an excellent metaphor for a dream.

You watch it, you enjoy it, and when it's over, it's over.

I suppose I was "attached" to the original Star Wars when it came out, went and saw it over and over again in the summer of '78 when it had made it to the 25 cent theater.

But I would think movies are a perfect example of "buy the ticket, enjoy the ride". You're there for the experience, which is fleeting, and you're not holding on to anything, just passing through.
