Why LGBTQ+ people are so pro-Palestinian. Maybe it's because I'm white and straight? But Gaza is NOT queer-friendly by any stretch of the imagination. Heck, HAMAS threw one of it's own leaders off a building because he was having sex with a man! Do you know where LGBTQ+ people in Palestine have to escape to? Israel. While Israel isn't exactly welcoming them, they're certainly parts of the country that are more queer-friendly, like Tel Aviv.

I guess it's the "we aren't free until all are free" attitude.
