Yeah, we all know conservatives are a bunch of double-talking -- or maybe Newspeaking -- hypocrites who constantly redefine the meaning of the word 'hypocrisy'. But it's genuinely scary to see the directions they're trying to go, and if you don't read about it because "it doesn't apply to me", you really need to re-read the history lesson from Niemöller, in whatever version you like -- the idea is the same in all.

Also, it really pisses me off when they adopt these super-hypocritical names as camouflage, naming their vile plans after the people who would be vehemently opposed to them (or passages from Scripture which openly contradict them) -- like they're trying to honor these people and principles, when they're really trying to steal their respectability for their own underhand purposes.
