Not everyone has the resources to go shopping for a hospital. Not everyone has the resources to travel long distances to get treatment there. Not everyone has the luxury of waiting for a public hospital to be built near them.

We do have the luxury of setting terms for religious hospitals that receive public funding (like, you know, pretty much all of them).
