A friend of mine’s daughter recently had an ectopic pregnancy, and our local Catholic hospital refused to treat her as prescribed by her physician. Luckily there’s another non religious hospital in the next town who was willing to treat her. And ectopic pregnancy can be very serious or even fatal - but of course the life of a woman counts for nothing i the Catholic religion ....
