I know some gay people here on DU have a problem with perpetuating that myth.

I live very close to Fort Worth and Romero has been a huge embarrassment, but I don’t think his fall from grace will have much effect. The congregation will simply find another loudmouthed bigot to speak for them. It’s not as if they will have to look that hard to find one.
