A Portugal who knew they would advance, played a motivated South Korea who gained the victory and second place in the group. Congrats to both.
A highly motivated Uruguay played an exciting match against Ghana, but came up short in their win to move into the knockout rounds.
Again, a Brazil who knew they would advance played to stay fit, rested their starters, but not much more against a victorious Cameroon.
The Swiss, knowing they would advance with a win, played an inspired back and forth game against Serbia, finally achieving the winning goal early in the second half and holding off a barrage of attacks. Good job, Swiss.
