Who here has characters in Inferno (Diablo 3) [View all]

I have both a barb and Demon Hunter in Inferno. I've managed to get my DH to the 3rd scene in Act 3 but my barb is stuck at the beginning of Act2.

I will say this much for treasure hunting. If you can manage to get your character NV up to 5 you can get some pretty decent drop. My current 2-handed Xbow was a drop and that Xbow put my damages up to 70k.

The problem - finding others to hunt with who can stick around long enough to get to NV5 without busting your bank for repair bills.

I hated Act2 in Inferno - that whole Kulle sequence is long and boring and I hated that annoying Gem guy you find in a barrell. I'd like to think if I can get up to NV5 (btw that increases your Magic Find to a really high rate when you hit 5) I might find some great drops in Inferno 3.

When I do get broke I go back to Act1 Inferno. I can pretty much survive most anything found in Act1 and pull in about 100k from gold and drops after about an hour of play.

But the problems I find with the public room include:

  • Team members not sticking together. You have 4 people on a game and one person wants to camp out in town it makes it really hard to kill the elites.
  • Team members who want to rush thru the scene without exploring all the caves. Those caves are usually loaded with elites and chests filled with money & goodies. Sure I can understand if you hit a bunch of hardass elites but to totally skip those caves means a loss in revenue.
  • Imbalanced parties. I think a good team you need 2 tanks and 2 dps. DPS work better when they don't have to go near the enemies and tanks usually don't have the damages that a DPS can extoll.
  • Characters woefully underequipped to handle Inferno - there are monsters that can one-hit me and I have 43k health and pretty good armor.

So I thought if we could get a team together we could maybe have a night each week where we go hunting for goodies. Who is interested?
