6. When I was in grad school at OSU in the early 80's the football tickets were free.

When you paid your tuition they sent you two tickets in the mail.

Then for the Rose Bowl, as I recall, you had to send in some money to join the lottery for the tickets.
It was inexpensive. You got your money back as I think, cannot remember that piece.
