5. I have a good friend in Michigan

who had season tickets with her husband to the Michigan Wolverines for many years. They had friends on the ground crew of the stadium. When her husband died, their friend took a small bit of his ashes to secretly bury under the 50 yard line.

Fast forward several years. My friend called us and noted that the NHL played their "Winter Classic" outdoor hockey game in the stadium.

She said: "You know my late husband's ashes are out there under the ice rink...and where he went, I'm sure he appreciates the cold!"

True story!
