this was all about raising money for the New Mexico Athletic Program. Nothing more nothing less. Just had the same outcome with UNLV yesterday as Northwestern buried them just to get their percentage of the Gate and TV rights.

The sad thing is,the caliber of Athlete and skill levels of ND and Northwestern are so superior to these Cannon Fodder Schools. All you end up with are several players getting injured and seeing their Athletic Careers ending.

UNLV and New Mexico should never be in Division One.
