JJ Bleday of the Reds was NL Player of the Month in May. Not too shabby!

I was most of the way thru your post before I realized this isn’t who you’re talking about, since I don’t know much about players on most teams, or their minor league experiences.
Wetherholt is having a great start to his career.

Time will tell if JJW can sustain it, since everyone makes adjustments to counter what opponents are doing. Here’s hoping that he doesn’t get hurt.
