3. i'm a huge fan of vintage auto racing..

they have a race every year at the naval base on North Island. the cars are great, mostly late 60s early 70s Trans Am, but also some Can Am racers, as well as your mid-60s Lotus, Lolas, and Ferraris. the course sucks though as it's on the tarmac.

if you get a chance, check out a film called "Champions Forever." it documents the 1975 Gran Prix and has some amazing footage. a few racers died that season, and the film has some rather frighteningly grim moments.
