So many skills involved - geometry, physics, spatial relations. Delicacy and finesse. Flexible hips to get into that low crouch

I got introduced to curling in the early 1970s. My parents belonged to a curling club in Rochester, NY, my hometown. I participated a few times. I was terrible.

My dad did it for many years until his knees no longer were up to it. The Rochester curling club traveled to bonspiels many times, and the team members exchange pins that are designed in the logo of their club. I kept several of them after he died, and have them mounted in a 3D type frame.

I'm glad I understand at least a little bit about curling.
