I don't recall the media hype being as strong as it was with Simone and Ilya. That's what bothers me.

N̈BC is awful this year. I have always loved Tara and Johnny, but that older man with his obnoxious announcer voice is too much. I don't care for the older woman, either. They are both into hyping things up and saying stupid things. They are unnecessary. It would be so much better with just Tara and Johnny! But maybe that's just me.

I have no doubt that Ilya will be back in 4 years, and that he will be tougher and will kick ass. But right now he has to recover from the media bubble of pressure and expectation that was placed on him, and that should not be.
