8. They were focusing too much on that stupid backflip.

I had absolutely no desire to watch someone do a backflip in the middle of an already gruelling routine. (I likewise got to the point where I couldn't watch Simone Biles because she was doing a move that was so dangerous I was afraid I would see her become paralyzed in front of my eyes).

He is young enough that he can still win another Olympic gold (don't forget, he did earn one already, he's not exactly going away empty handed). But I am tired of watching these athletes pushed past the breaking point too.
