My parents and extended family were from West Allis. I’ve often traveled to Milwaukee to visit relatives.

I’m very fond of my homeland. The countryside is beautiful. The many lakes and farmlands formed my earliest memories of America. The farms produce some of the best produce I’ve ever tasted. I was a fan of the Braves but when they moved to Atlanta, I was done with them forever! The Brewers have never stimulated my heart, unfortunately. I will always root for the Pack and years ago I bought a share of ownership for my uncle.

When I went to college in NYC, I ended up there to pursue my career. Nevertheless, cheese flows through my veins (figuratively, of course) and when I took my wife to Wisconsin the first time, I insisted that we stop at the Mars Cheese Castle just north of the Illinois border to get cheeses, summer sausages and hot sauces!

Accordingly, I will root for the Pack till I die. Since my dad got his degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Bucky Badger has always been my favorite mascot!

I like to golf if I can walk the course carrying my bag. I’ve often played two rounds in a day. It’s quite a workout! Swimming is great but I don’t compete in my older years. Running, tennis and above all, sailing are also among my athletic interests. My wife keeps trying to get me into Pilates but it’s not for me. I used to ski and was fortunate to experience the Northeast, the Rockies and the Alps but one time after I fell, I realized I could really hurt myself.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to America’s Dairyland but I’m planning a trip for later this summer.

Thanks for asking and have a great week!
