3. Yeah, the politics of the CFP is obvious. But Ohio State (IMHO) talk about dumping their coach

seems extremely premature to me... Just because they haven't defeated Michigan? A lawyer friend I walk with pre-dawn compared it with one of his alma maters, Nebraska, who fired successful coach Tom Osburn's successor, Frank Solich-- who never won less than 9 games each season in five years. Since then NE has pitched to the bottom... Even Nick Saban had a couple of early bad years with Alabama.

So, even teams I don't especially favor, drive me nuts when they do this kind of thing.

That said, on the "pretentious" list right now for me is Texas--which has decided no one in the SEC but them knows football and made sure all knew in their first year of SEC membership. May UGA (again defeat them and) blast them out of the SEC championship.
