One season in the NFL.

How many years of pop Warner? Wrestling? High school football? College football? Other sports where you can get hit in the head....

I have shear damage from concussions according to a recent MRI. Never played in the NFL.

I never played college sports except intramurals.

I played catcher as a kid and got hit by a bunch of thrown bats. Had two bad concussions playing pickup football with no pads. Another from a car wreck. Had one caused by hydraulic failure of rear hatch of my van getting groceries out on a day it was negative ten degrees. Who knows how many playing basketball and other sports.

Hard to say that the NFL is responsible for this guy's brain injuries.

I am gen x, not a boomer like this guy, and we didn't take concussions seriously. I had coaches tell me it was just a bell ringer, get back in there.

Not all brain trauma came from the NFL. A lot of us got brain trauma as kids playing sports we loved.
